The QR Code Generator turns any text or URL into a QR code the moment you type it. The code is rendered as a crisp 480×480 PNG with a quiet-zone margin, and you can save it with one click to use in print materials, presentations, menus, posters or product packaging.
Besides website links, a QR code can carry plain text such as a Wi-Fi password note, a short message, a phone number or contact details. Visitors simply point their phone camera at it. For printed use, test the code with a couple of different phones before mass printing, and keep it at least about 2 cm wide so it scans reliably from a normal distance.
The codes produced here are static: the content is encoded directly into the pattern, so there’s no redirect service, no tracking and no expiry date — but also no way to edit the destination later. Shorter content creates a simpler pattern that is easier to scan. The code uses medium error correction, which tolerates minor smudges. Generation happens entirely in your browser, so what you type is never sent to a server.

Do the QR codes expire?
No. The content is stored directly in the code, so it works for as long as the link or text itself is valid.
Can I change the link after printing?
No. These are static codes, so a new destination requires a new QR code. If you expect changes, point the code to a page you control.
What file format and size do I get?
The download is a 480×480 pixel PNG named qrcode.png, with dark modules on a white background.
Why do I see an error message?
A QR code has a maximum capacity, so very long text can’t be encoded. Shorten the content or use a short URL instead.
