📝 About Age Calculator
The Age Calculator works out your exact age from your date of birth, expressed in years, months and days, and also shows the total number of days you have lived so far. Enter a birth date, press Calculate, and the result is measured against today’s date.
It is useful for filling in forms that ask for an exact age, checking eligibility for age-restricted services, confirming insurance or pension age, tracking a child’s age in months, or simply finding out how many days old you are.
The result is your international (completed) age: one year is added only after each birthday has passed. In Korea this is called “man-age,” and since June 2023 it has been the standard for legal and administrative purposes, replacing the traditional Korean age that counted a newborn as one year old. If the day of the month has not yet been reached, the calculator borrows the days from the previous month, so the months and days figures always add up correctly.

❓ FAQ
Is this the international age or the Korean age?
It is the international (completed) age, which increases only on your birthday. This is the official standard in Korea since June 2023.
How do I get the “year age” (yeon-nai)?
Subtract your birth year from the current year. For example, someone born in 2000 has a year age of 26 in 2026, regardless of the birthday.
Can I calculate age on a date other than today?
This tool always uses today as the reference date. For a different reference date, you can count the days between the two dates with the D-day Calculator.
