📝 About D-day Calculator
The D-day Calculator tells you how many days are left until a target date, or how many days have passed since it. Pick a start date and a target date, and the tool instantly shows a D-day label such as D-30, D-DAY or D+12, together with the total number of days between the two dates.
It is handy for exam countdowns, project deadlines, travel plans, wedding preparations, anniversaries and contract expiry dates. The D-day label is always measured from today, while the “days between” figure uses the two dates you selected, so you can check both at once.
The calculation is a simple difference between calendar dates. Both dates are treated as midnight in UTC, so daylight saving time and time zones never shift the result by a day. Keep in mind that the count is a pure difference: from March 1 to March 2 is one day. If you celebrate milestones where the first day counts as day 1, such as a baby’s 100th day, subtract one day from the target.

❓ FAQ
Is the D-day counted from the start date or from today?
The large D-day label is always calculated from today’s date. The “days between” line below it uses the start date you selected.
What does D+ mean?
D+ means the target date is already in the past, and the number shows how many days have passed since then. D- means the date is still ahead.
How do I find the date of a 100-day anniversary?
If the first day counts as day 1, the 100th day is 99 days after the start date. You can get that exact date with the Date Calculator by adding 99 days.
Is my data saved anywhere?
No. The calculation runs entirely in your browser and the dates are not sent to any server.
