Merge PDF

Combine multiple PDF files into one, in any order.

Your files stay on your device

This tool processes everything locally in your browser. Nothing is uploaded to a server.

📝 About Merge PDF

Merge PDF combines two or more PDF files into a single document. Typical uses include joining a cover letter, résumé and portfolio into one application file, stitching together scanned chapters, or collecting monthly statements into a yearly archive.

After adding files, use the ↑ and ↓ arrows to set their order and ✕ to remove one. The pages of each file are copied in full, one file after another, so the result reads exactly as the list shows from top to bottom. Page content is copied rather than re-rendered, which means text stays selectable and images keep their original quality.

A few practical notes: password-protected or encrypted PDFs usually can’t be opened for merging, so remove the protection first. If you only need some pages from a long file, extract them with the Split PDF tool before merging. Very large files may take a moment depending on your device’s memory. All processing happens locally in your browser, so your documents are never uploaded, which makes it safe for contracts and other private paperwork.

❓ FAQ

How many PDFs can I merge at once?

There’s no fixed limit; you need at least two files. Very large or numerous files are limited only by your device’s memory.

Can I merge password-protected PDFs?

Usually not. Encrypted files can’t be read for merging, so remove the password in your PDF viewer first.

Can I pick specific pages from each file?

This tool merges every page of each file. Use Split PDF to extract the pages you need first, then merge those files.

Is the merged file’s quality reduced?

No. Pages are copied as they are, so text, fonts and images stay the same as in the originals.
