πŸ“ About Case Converter

Case Converter changes the capitalization of English text with one click. Paste your text, then choose UPPERCASE, lowercase, Title Case (every word capitalized) or Sentence case (only the first letter of each sentence capitalized). The text is converted in place, so you can try several styles in a row and copy the version you like.

It saves time when you’ve typed a paragraph with Caps Lock on, when you need consistent headings for a document or blog, or when you want to tidy up product names and spreadsheet labels pasted from different sources. Developers also use it to normalize lists of keywords or tags before further processing.

Keep in mind that Title Case and Sentence case first convert everything to lowercase, so acronyms such as β€œNASA” and proper nouns in the middle of a sentence will need a quick manual fix afterward. Title Case also capitalizes short words like β€œof” and β€œthe”, which some style guides keep lowercase. Korean and other scripts without letter case are left unchanged. All conversion happens in your browser.

❓ FAQ

Can I undo a conversion?

The text is replaced in place, and converting to lowercase loses the original capitalization. Keep a copy of the original if you may need it again.

Why did my acronyms become lowercase?

Title Case and Sentence case lowercase the whole text before capitalizing, so acronyms and proper nouns need to be fixed by hand afterward.

How does Sentence case detect sentences?

It capitalizes the first letter of the text and the first letter after a period, exclamation mark or question mark.

Does it work with Korean text?

Korean has no letter case, so Korean characters stay the same while any English words mixed in are converted.
