📝 About Number Drawer

Number Drawer picks random numbers from a range you define. Set a minimum, a maximum and how many numbers you want, then decide whether duplicates are allowed. The default setup — 1 to 45, six numbers, no duplicates — mirrors a typical 6/45 lottery, but you can use any range you like.

Teachers use it to call on students by roll number, event hosts use it to draw raffle tickets, and friends use it to settle seat numbers or turn orders. With “No duplicates” on, each number can appear only once and the results are shown sorted from smallest to largest, which makes them easy to read out loud. Turn it off to simulate things like repeated dice rolls, where the same value can come up more than once.

Randomness comes from the browser’s cryptographic generator (crypto.getRandomValues) when supported, and all drawing happens locally on your device. Keep in mind that no tool can improve your lottery odds — every combination remains equally likely.

❓ FAQ

Can I use it to generate lottery numbers?

Yes — the default 1–45, six numbers, no duplicates matches the 6/45 format. It’s for fun only; it can’t predict or raise your chances of winning.

What if I ask for more numbers than the range contains?

With “No duplicates” on, the draw stops when every number in the range has been used, so you get at most the size of the range.

Why are the results sometimes not sorted?

Results are sorted only when duplicates are disabled. With duplicates allowed, numbers are shown in the order they were drawn.

Does it work with negative numbers?

Yes. Any whole-number range works, and if you accidentally enter the minimum and maximum the wrong way round, the tool swaps them for you.
