📝 About Password Generator
The Password Generator builds random passwords from the character sets you choose: uppercase letters, lowercase letters, digits and symbols (!@#$%^&*()-_=+[]{}). Drag the slider to pick a length between 4 and 64 characters, tick the sets you want, and press Generate.
Each character is picked using crypto.getRandomValues(), the browser’s cryptographically secure random number source, rather than the predictable Math.random(). Password strength comes mainly from length and the size of the character pool. A 16-character password using upper, lower and digits already has around 95 bits of entropy, and adding symbols or a few extra characters raises it further. When a site restricts symbols, simply increase the length instead.
Because generation happens entirely in your browser, the password is never transmitted or stored by this site. Once you copy it, save it in a password manager rather than reusing it across accounts, since a unique password per service is the most effective defense against credential leaks.

❓ FAQ
Is the generated password stored anywhere?
No. It is created in your browser’s memory and disappears when you leave the page, unless you copy it yourself.
How long should my password be?
For most accounts 16 characters or more is a strong choice. Important accounts such as email or banking benefit from 20 or more.
Why is nothing generated?
At least one character set must be selected. If all checkboxes are cleared, there are no characters to choose from.
Does every password include each selected type?
Not necessarily. Characters are drawn randomly from the combined pool, so a short password might miss one type; regenerate if a site requires every category.
