📝 About Rotate PDF
Rotate PDF turns every page of a document by 90°, 180° or 270° and saves the result as a new file. The most common reason to use it is scanning: documents fed into a scanner sideways or upside down end up as PDFs you have to tilt your head to read. Landscape spreadsheets exported in portrait orientation are another typical case.
Rotation is applied clockwise and adds to any rotation the page already has, so rotating a page that is already set to 90° by another 90° makes it 180°. Choose 90° for a quarter turn to the right, 270° for a quarter turn to the left, and 180° for upside-down pages. The change is stored as a page rotation setting rather than by redrawing the content, so text remains selectable and image quality is unchanged.
This tool rotates all pages together. If only a few pages are crooked, split them out, rotate them, and merge the document back together. The file never leaves your device; all processing happens in your browser.

❓ FAQ
Which direction does the rotation go?
Clockwise. Use 270° if you want to turn pages a quarter turn counter-clockwise.
Can I rotate just one page?
This tool rotates all pages. To rotate only some, split them out with Split PDF, rotate them, then merge everything back with Merge PDF.
Does rotating reduce quality?
No. Only the page’s rotation setting changes; the text and images themselves are not re-encoded.
