📝 About Roulette Wheel

Roulette Wheel turns any list into a colourful spinning wheel. Type your options one per line and the wheel updates instantly, dividing itself into equal slices. Press Spin and the wheel rotates for about four seconds, gradually slowing down until the pointer at the top lands on the winner.

Compared with a plain random picker, the wheel adds suspense, which makes it great for shared screens: choosing a lunch menu with coworkers, deciding penalty games at a party, picking a quiz category in class, or running a small giveaway on stream. Everyone watches the same animation, so the result feels fair and fun.

Every option gets exactly the same size slice and the same chance of winning. Colours repeat after eight slices, and very long labels are shortened on the wheel, so short labels look best. The wheel runs entirely in your browser — nothing you type is uploaded. If you have dozens of options, the Random Picker may be easier to read.

❓ FAQ

Does every option have the same chance?

Yes. The wheel is divided into equal slices and the winner is chosen at random, so each option is equally likely.

Can I give one option a bigger slice?

There’s no weight setting, but entering the same option on two lines gives it two slices and double the chance.

How many options can I add?

There’s no hard limit, but slices get thin and labels are cut short as the list grows, so around 2–12 options is easiest to read.

Can I change the options while it’s spinning?

It’s best to wait until the spin finishes. The Spin button is disabled during the animation, and editing the list mid-spin can make the slices and the result look mismatched.
